Sarah here (Swoop Bags Owner/Founder) and I am hoping that this email finds you and your loved ones well and safe during this unprecedented time in our history. It's really hard to believe what we are all facing right now and the devastating impact that COVID-19 is having on all our communities and economies around the world.
I wanted to give you an update as to what is happening with Swoop. I feel grateful that Swoop is an online business where I can do everything from home. I will continue to ship the current inventory that is in stock; however, I am limiting fulfillment to 1-2 times a week now. Orders are shipped via USPS. I did a large production run during January + February so there are plenty of bags in stock at the moment. All Swoop Bags are packaged in a thin clear bag after production so everything that has been shipped to you has been in a sealed plastic bag for weeks.
My production place here in Seattle is closed until further notice. Many of my suppliers are closed as well. So right now, production has stopped and no bags are being sewn. I don't know when things will be up and running again. I am incredibly grateful to have this small online business and the support from all of you. Thank you for your kind emails and engagement on all of Swoop's social media platforms. I truly wish you and your families well during this time.
